Minimalistic apartments and copyright infringement.

Second blog of the day. And I think you like it.

So I couldn't wait to tell you about this site I've been looking at for the past few days. It's called The Selby. Here's their description of what it entails "The Selby features photographs, paintings and videos by todd selby of interesting people and their creative spaces" But that definition does not do this site justice at all. So basically Todd Selby goes to artists, fashion designers, and everything in between people's houses and photographs them in their space. Then has a handwritten interview at the end. Sounds simple and like you could do it. But the way he captures these homes puts interior design magazines to shame. The spaces are incredible, eclectic, and make me wish I had an apartment in the city even more.

These photos are also just a taste of each set. (Well there were photos...) Every house has about thirty photos of everything from rooftop gardens to cluttered bookshelves. With locations spanning from Paris to Milan to Brooklyn. This guy is incredible. Some of his work with the home of Helena Christensen Can be seen in Paris Vouge. Bottom line. There's some real talent here. So check out his site.

And another thing. I totally just realized I can't be posting people's artwork without their written consent. Even though I've been giving the links to their sites and are doing nothing but promoting their work. I mean I highly doubt anyone will even notice let alone care enough to do anything about it. But that's my paranoid personality for you. Oh well. I'm going to have to start getting really creative. And in the future posts... expect less art. I'd say something on a lighter note but I guess I'm not getting my film anyway and can't find my phone so nothing's really going that great. Hopefully The Real World will cheer me up. Look for my posts tomorrow <3

No photos make me sad... So fuck it. I'll be a rebel
